How can you make an impact?

DUMAWUL are on the lookout for someone passionate about education, community, and culture – someone who’s ready to help grow the DDW Group’s learning programs across schools, workplaces and the broader community.

You’ll work with mob, educators, and leaders to design and deliver curriculum that brings Djaara ways of knowing, being and doing into the learning space. Your work will help others to better understand and respect the deep cultural knowledge and ongoing connection we have to Country.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating engaging, age-appropriate curriculum aligned to the Australian framework
  • Supporting schools and partners to embed Aboriginal-led content
  • Helping build DJAARA’s learning programs in digital and in-person formats
  • Working closely with Djaara educators, Elders and partners to keep content strong, respectful and relevant

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in education, curriculum design or cultural learning
  • A passion for Aboriginal education and a respectful approach to cultural knowledge
  • Great communication skills and the ability to engage with a range of people
  • Creativity, initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
