How can you make an impact?
Lead our finance team and play a key role in keeping DJAARA’s financial operations strong, accurate and well managed. You’ll work closely with the CFO to strengthen financial processes, support good decision-making and ensure our financial reporting and controls are fit for purpose.
What you’ll do
- Lead and support the accounting and transactional finance team
- Oversee month-end, year-end and financial reporting processes
- Ensure the integrity of reconciliations, journals and financial data
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the wider organisation
- Oversee AP, AR and payroll operations and compliance
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Strengthen financial controls, systems and processes
- Drive continuous improvement across the finance function
What will you bring?
- CPA/CA qualification or equivalent
- Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
- Experience leading and developing a finance team
- Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with financial systems, ideally an ERP such as MYOB Advanced/Acumatica
- The ability to analyse financial information and provide clear, practical advice
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance people
- A collaborative leadership style, high integrity and a commitment to continuous improvement
