DJAARA are seeking a Strategic Project Manager to join DJANDAK and help shape our vision. This role is about building strong foundations, creating the systems that keep us accountable, and supporting our teams to deliver outcomes that make a real difference for Djaara People and Country.

  • Salary Starting from  – $110k + superannuation 
  • Full-Time on-going position
  • Option of a 9 day fortnight

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading and mentoring project managers to create a culture of excellence and care.
  • Designing project frameworks and governance that reflect best practice and respect Djaara values.
  • Overseeing budgets and financial reporting, ensuring strong and sustainable outcomes.
  • Building trusted relationships across community, Elders, and partners to make sure our projects stay true to Dja Dja Wurrung aspirations.
  • Supporting DJANDAK’s growth over the next decade through strong planning, systems and delivery.

What will you bring?

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is a seasoned project professional with 10 years project management experience
  • Has a degree in business, project management or equivalent industry recognised standards such as Project Management Professional.
  • Has proven management experience of cross functional teams
  • Experienced in developing and adhering to budgets
  • Experienced in financial reporting and analysis
  • Has the ability to conceptualise a vision and align complex frameworks and systems.
  • Has excellent time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Has the ability to complete projects on-time and within budget
  • Is a proven leader that fosters high performing teams
  • Can demonstrate the ability to deliver high standard presentations to senior leaders
